SupremeOdds.com, Ireland’s first online casino, is to be launched within the next week. Leisure Spread, the company starting the casino, already offers spread betting on sport and stocks, as well as fixed-odds sports betting, but growth in the online sector has been described by MD Conor Foley as ‘explosive’.
It has closed a E3.2m funding to allow it to expand further in the UK, where half of the company’s business comes from. It has an office there and is regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority, allowing it to advertise in racing papers there.
Foley says other internet bookies are getting 15-20pc of their revenue from an online casino.
